Janina Harasim is a professor at University of Economics in Katowice, Department of Banking and Financial Markets. Monika Klimontowicz is a professor at the University of Economics in Katowice, holding PhD and DSc (habilitation) degree in Economics. Her scientific interests focus on business strategy, banking innovations, creating value for customers, knowledge and intellectual capital, and competition in the banking market. Teaching activities include BA, MA and post-graduate courses related to banking, market strategies and competitive advantage, electronic money and payments, as well as banks and non-bank entities’ market behaviour (including FinTech). The results of her research are the topic of lectures delivered at domestic and foreign universities.
