PhD, Dr Habil., Professor at UMCS, Department of Public International Law, Faculty of Law and Administration, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (Lublin). Her research focuses on public international law, particularly the sources and subjects of international law, as well as human rights and international judicial proceedings. She has conducted research at the Institute of Public International Law and International Relations in Thessaloniki, the Poznań Human Rights Centre of the Institute of Legal Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, the Peace Palace Library in The Hague, and Comenius University in Bratislava. She has been awarded research scholarships by the Institute of Public International Law and International Relations in Thessaloniki, the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, the Central European Exchange Program for University Studies (CEEPUS) in Hungary, and the Zawacka Programme of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).
