Aurélie Zurbrügg is a graduate assistant in the Department of English at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland and a substitute instructor in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. In her PhD project, “The Message on the Wall: The Wall as a Medium from Public Art to Contemporary American Fiction,” she examines the position that is granted to the wall in media and literary studies.
