The national security of the Russian Federation (according to sociological researches)

Abstract

The aim of the paper is a comparison of the main threats to Russia's national security presented in legal acts and official reports of important actors in Russian politics with an understanding of the major threats in public opinion. According to sociologists, the coincidence of the main threats perception in both spheres is a result not only of the activity of electronic mass media, but also the views that dominate in the public consciousness – about the greatness of Russia and the need to prove this greatness in the international relation.
