Kamil Jakimowicz – employee of the Institute of History of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (Department of the History of 16th–19th Centuries and Eastern Europe). His research interests focus on the Republic of Poland during the reign of King Stanisław August, primarily the Good Order Commissions and the Civil-Military Order Commissions, with particular emphasis on Lublin. Author of several academic papers on the subject published in periodicals and collective works. Currently, his research covers the issues related to the organisation and functioning of King Stanisław August’s supporters in the provinces of Krakow, Sandomierz and Lublin between 1775 and 1788.
