Felix Purat is a Postgraduate at the Department of American Literature at Palacky University in Olomouc (Czech Republic). His research focuses on the novels of Philip K. Dick in the context of California regional literature. His interests include California regional literature in general as well as other regional literatures of the West and the mythos of American literature in general, including the mythos of California. He is also the author of two published novels - Calm Before an Earthquake, The Taco Psychosis - and many poems. Other publications include:
