Mireille Blanchet-Douspis was a French teacher who taught secondary education and today she is retired. At the same time, she prepared a doctoral thesis on the work of Marguerite Yourcenar, which was published by Rodopi (Amsterdam). She added research on politics in the work of Yourcenar and continues the study of the work of this writer through articles.
