Acta Humana is a yearly journal of the Doctoral Students’ Association working at the Faculty of Humanities at Maria Curie Skłodowska University. The journal publishes scientific articles, reviews and reports by both doctoral students of the local faculty and the students from other, Polish and foreign, academic centres. The editorial board tries to ensure that the published articles mirror the research areas explored by young scientists, at the same time including at least one article by a well-established scholar. The subject matter of the articles varies considerably as the papers present results of research from the fields of literature studies, linguistics, history, and culture studies.
